Cursor has no Smithers plugin, so we recommend the MCP server: it gives Cursor’s Agent structured tools to list, run, watch, and approve workflows. Run in your project:
Reopen Cursor and the Smithers tools appear in the Agent. If you also use the headless cursor-agent CLI, add the skill files too:

Check it worked

Ask Cursor’s Agent:
“What Smithers workflows are available here?”
It should list them via the Smithers tools. From there, ask for outcomes (What You Can Do) and Cursor drives the runs.
The agent-facing details (mcp.json shape, rules, headless mode) live in the Technical API at Cursor. You don’t need them; Cursor does.
